Percy’s Got a Bubble is a 30-minute, story-led presentation that allows us to begin the conversation around boundaries, consent, and communication and helps to define healthy relationships in an age-appropriate way.

We are working hard at developing a program that encourages men and boys to be leaders of change in their own communities.

In this presentation, we highlight the most popular apps and games and talk about how important good boundaries are (especially online). We also discuss how technology has changed our interactions, the legal consequences for certain behaviours, and end with defining a ‘digital footprint’.

In this presentation, we define sexual harassment and sexual assault. We speak about the impacts of sexual violence on our society and encourage young people to be agents of change. We also provide information and supports for those who have already been impacted by sexual violence.

CYBERWORLD: WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOUTH PRESS SEND?

In this presentation, we provide parents and caregivers with information on the popular websites, games, and apps that are being used by children and youth. We discuss legal consequences and the potential dangers online. We share helpful tips on starting conversations with their children and youth. 

TRAUMA INFORMED COMMUNITIES

In this training, we highlight trauma (specifically sexual violence trauma) and discuss the importance of recognizing our values and biases in order to provide trauma-informed care. We will also discuss how to provide support and resources for those who have been impacted by sexual violence, and the legal obligations of responding to a disclosure. Throughout the presentation, we emphasize the importance of practicing self-care when providing trauma-informed care to others.

HOW TO RESPOND TO A DISCLOSURE

In this training, we will discuss how to provide support and resources for those who have been impacted by sexual violence and the legal obligations of responding to a disclosure. We also talk about how important self-care is when responding to disclosures.

PRICING

All school presentations are $100/session, except our kindergarten presentation which is $50/session.

 

Our parent and caregiver presentations are $150/session.

 

Mileage fees are charged at a rate of 0.50c/km outside of Sherwood Park.

 

There may be subsidies available for schools that are unable to fund presentations.
